We are a branch of the Nutritionists' Networking Group (NNG) that was started in Richmond Hill several years ago by Susan Baker, Chairperson.  NNG East warmly welcome all nutritionists, practicing or not (including students), to come enjoy an informal evening of socializing, sharing of information, and "connectedness". The meetings will be held eight months of the year on the 4th Tuesday of the month (unless otherwise advised) at 551 Bradley Dr in Whitby.

Most meetings will feature a speaker and all will provide an opportunity to meet other holistic nutritionists.  As well, the NNG East email list will forward any information on to you about nutrition/holistic events, seminars, nutritionists' workshops, cooking classes, news, social events, recommended resources like books and websites as well as minutes from the monthly meetings (which is invaluable to those who cannot attend monthly meetings).  We believe it is important for nutritionists to unify in our common passion and goal of health through natural nutrition, as well as to learn about what each of us is up to! Meeting attendees are encouraged to bring their business information, flyers, and books to share with other nutritionists. To be added to the NNG East mailing list, email Peggy Stewart at peggy.steppingstones@gmail.com or Eleanor Healy at health@trulyme.ca

Beginning January 2010, meetings are $10 drop-in fee, or members can pay $30 for the 4 meetings from February to May 2010 (no fees for the planning meeting in January).  Annual fees will be renewed in September 2010 for September 2010 to May 2011.  Fees include availability to detailed speaker notes and any handouts in the follow-up NNG East email.  For those who cannot attend meetings but wish to receive the monthly detailed speaker notes and handouts, the $30 fee applies.  Otherwise, the NNG East emails (with everything except speaker notes/handouts/resources) are free and are automatically sent to those on the NNG East mailing list.

We look forward to seeing all of you at the first meeting in January.

Yours in health,
Peggy & Eleanor
