Jennifer is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, and Orthomolecular Practitioner, accredited by the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, and the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants.  She is intensely passionate about nutrition and wholly dedicated to helping others.  She believes in the importance of approaching health holistically and creates multi-faceted wellness plans that address both the immediate symptoms and root cause.  While adept at addressing a multitude of health conditions, she specializes in preventative nutrition, weight management and related disorders, inflammatory conditions like arthritis and gout, cardiovascular health, food allergies and sensitivities. 

 

With a genuine respect for the life-sustaining properties of whole foods, she believes they are at the very core of optimum wellness.  While the body has an innate ability to heal itself if given the proper nutrients, the key is knowing how to get those nutrients, and acknowledging that there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all diet.  With each individual’s bio-chemical uniqueness in mind, Jennifer can put together a customized nutritional plan, capable of producing dramatic results on its own, or in conjunction with other forms of therapy to remarkably enhance their effects.  

 

Recognizing that her advice is only as good as the degree to which it is taken, she always considers a client’s lifestyle when making recommendations.  Jennifer embraces the cultural and social aspects of eating, and values integration over alienation.  Affecting people both physically and emotionally, Jennifer acknowledges that there are times when changing ones diet can be difficult.  Empathetic and compassionate, she supports each client by allowing them to integrate change at a pace they are comfortable with, providing them with the tools necessary to address obstacles as they present themselves.  

 

Food is an integral part of life.  Regardless of the type of relationship a person has with it, the need to eat is a fundamental truth that no one can deny.  With a customized nutrition plan, ongoing education, and support, Jennifer can provide her clients with the tools necessary to maximize the nutritional benefits of food, and help them achieve their health and wellness goals.
